Thailand's main utensils are the Spoon and fork, in that order. Knives and Chop sticks are not a common practice while eating.

  2. Straws are given everywhere if you get a drink, gas station, resturant etc.

Most food here doesn't need to be cut in Thai's eyes they just scoop it up into their mouth with the spoon. This makes for a lot of bent forks.

AS for napkins... real napkins are non existent.. they use rolls of toilet paper or really really thin "napkins" [if you can call it that]
You go through about 12 a meal.

I once heard Thailand be referred to as "The land of bent forks"

    -miss you too.

  3. I wish all drinks here were given with a straw! Keeps your teeth healthier! :)

How is soda priced over there compared to here? I know in some other countries it's expensive! Also, what is the alcoholic drink of choice over yonder?

Miss you & so happy I snooped to find your blog. You know what I'll be doing everyday at work now.
